ASCII()
ASCII() 함수는 특정 문자에 대한 ASCII 값을 반환한다.
MySQL 4.0부터 작동한다.
형식
ASCII(character)
여기서 character는 ASCII 값을 반환할 문자다.
두 개 이상의 문자를 입력하면 첫 번째 문자에 대한 값만 반환된다.
예제
“CustomerName”에서 첫 번째 문자의 ASCII 값을 반환한다.
SELECT CustomerName, ASCII(CustomerName) AS NumCodeOfFirstChar FROM Customers;
